Fixed Stainless Steel Blade Hunting
Knife with a handle made from
Snakewood. Initially deep red in
colour, snakewood when exposed
to the air, changes its stripes and
eventually turns a rich reddish
brown. The blade is made in South
Africa and the handle is carved in
Austria, where the case hardening and inlay is
also applied to the bolster. The craftsman then cuts the
design into the bolster by hand and hammers gold wire into this
channel before polishing the entire design to produce a work of art that is
