All phases of production, from design and layout to machining, heat treating, cryogenic cycle, double temper cycles per blade are performed by Mr. Bartlow. Classic clean design, fit and finish, eye appeal, and ultimate performance are all characteristics of a well made Bartlow Custom Knife. The characteristic choil facilitates removal of the wings and legs of dove and quail. ATS-34 steel, Rockwell "c" of 60-61, 41+stainless steel polsters and pins. Handles are scaled in ancient Mastodon ivory that has laid in mineral rich tundra for over 12,000 years, leaching its distinctive character and color. Very limited quantities are available.
