This classic shoeshine box should remind you of the one your grandfather used. This furniture quality box is not a piece you want to hide in the closet. Handmade of American poplar by a local furniture maker, the box features dovetailed joints, an delevated footrest and a sliding top secured by a post closure. Inside the box is a 5 1/4", 100% horsehair shining brush, a horsehair polish dauber brush, black polish, brown polish, and a soft shining cloth. The leather trim on the top of the kit finishes the look and includes a brass oval plate, which may be personalized wtih three initials.
